Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Full-Time 6:45a - 5:15p
Call and Weekend Rotation Required
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
Follows the professional standards of care.
Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.
Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.
Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in specialty preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
