Manager, Medical Oncology Treatment Centers
Responsible for theday to dayoperations and management of the medical oncologytreatment and infusion suitesat all Cancer Center for Hope locations
Manages all clinical staff, including registered nurses and charge nurses,as well as allpherisisand Infusion Suite team members
Coordinating with SLA,schedulestreatment rooms days of week and hours of operation
Maintainsstaff scheduling to ensure smooth workflows for dailyand weekend hours of operation
Establishes workflows for safe,positive, high quality,efficient andeffectivetreatment room visits
Maintains collaborative relationship with all pharmacy team and coordinates safe medication administration and handling and disposal for all workflows within the treatment rooms
Creates standard workprocesses forpherisisprocedures andmaintainsall quality assurance on equipment and process.
Works with leadership from scheduling, pharmacy, oncologyclinicand revenue cycle leadership to ensure smooth process for patients and clinic staff
Createsstreamlined processes to create efficient workflows for patient preparation,medicationadministrationand documentation of treatment
Works collaboratively with all cancer center leadership to promote excellent patient experience across the entire cancer continuum as well as throughout the health system
Isan expert and resource for oncology clinical education, stays updated on all oncology education and NCCN and ONS standards and guidelines
Role-model ofleadership behavior, teamengagementand positive attitude at all times
Champion of exceptional patient experience and customer service, every encounterat all times
Other duties, including Commission on Cancer,Joint Commission and other projects as assigned.
