Vernon Memorial Healthcare (VMH) is a unique rural health care system. Vernon Memorial Hospital provides primary and secondary acute care services, as well as diagnostic, preventative and emergency services, on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. In addition, the VMH medical staff includes board-certified physicians in family practice, general practice, general surgery, pediatrics, and orthopaedic surgery. VMH offers a full range of health care services including: OR, orthopaedics, kidney dialysis, therapies department, comprehensive imaging services, cardiopulmonary testing and rehabilitation, home health and hospice care, a 24-hour emergency department, an After Hours Clinic, and more than 22 visiting specialists who hold office hours in our Outpatient Speciality Care Clinic.
