Shift Nights, 7p-7a
Rotating weekends and holidays
Sign-on bonus available: $10,000 for new grads, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses!
Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Emergency, Observation, Inpatient and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.
Qualifications:
Education Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Licensure Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: None required, new graduate nurses accepted. Emergency Department experience preferred.
Physical requirements/demands Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Required Certifications (training provided by Mercy during the orientation period if not already certified):
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
