Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, delivering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside care in alignment with the nursing process and patient needs.

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care planning and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Serves as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff in the provision of safe, effective care.
• Evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Supporting patient goals
• Ensuring safety guidelines and work practices.

• Special Skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are required. Candidates must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency are also required. Strongly prefer experience in an Emergency Department; willing to train the right candidate.
• Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: Will consider new graduate nurse
  • Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Certifications:
    • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
    • BLS required at time of hire
    • ACLS required within first 30 days.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Experience: For new to service line- 2 years’ experience PCU/Tele or ICU
  • Certifications:
    • ALCS
    • PALS
    • CEN
    • TNCC
