As a Med-Surg RN, you will care for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and surgical diagnoses while working with a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Full-time, Part-time, and Supplemental opportunities available
(Day, Evening, and Night shifts)

Compensation:

  • $31.25 – $46.88 per hour
  • +$8.00/hour premium

Additional Incentives:

  • Eligible for evening, night, and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes.
  • Potential performance-based bonus opportunities based on eligibility criteria and defined performance goals.

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to adults with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs.

The Med-Surg RN is responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families through education and discharge planning.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

As a Medical-Surgical RN, you will:

  • Provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Document patient care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention practices.
  • Support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous clinical nursing experience.
  • Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
