Our Med Surg/Telemetry unit provides nurses with the opportunity to care for a diverse adult patient population, including medical, telemetry, and post-surgical patients. Team members develop strong assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills while working in a collaborative environment focused on delivering safe, compassionate care. How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing is required (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)
• One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred
