
The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. Responsibilities include assessment, preparation, monitoring, sedation management, patient education, and coordination of care to ensure a safe and positive patient experience. The Medical Imaging RN uses evidence-based practice, advanced technology, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
About the Medical Imaging RN Role:
As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of imaging procedures across different body parts (excluding the heart). This position requires a commitment to high-quality care, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the healthcare team. You may also rotate through sedation areas and assist with emergency procedures as needed.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7AM-5:30PM - 10 hour shifts. Rotating on call requirements after hours, weekends/holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing imaging procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Physicians and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
Monitor and evaluate patients before and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Educate patients about their procedures and address any questions or concerns.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency imaging procedures as required.

Pay Rate: Competitive salary based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current RN License in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) and ACLS for healthcare providers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
