Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

• Most admissions to our unit come from ED, ICU or PACU
• Dedicated, qualified mentors available in order for new caregivers to have the best experience possible
• We work closely with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy
• Utilize interdisciplinary team approach
• Our team partners with patients and families in order to achieve best outcomes
• Epilepsy Monitoring Unit dedicated to serving and improving the care of epilepsy
• Patients vary in neurosurgical etiologies /neurologic pathologies
• High level of teamwork
• Current Electronic Health Record– EPIC
• Fast paced working environment

Requirements

1 year experience

Active TX RN License

Current BLS (AHA) required
