Our 3B nursing unit is a 32 bed medical unit and our 3C nursing unit is a 30 bed medical unit specializing in cardiac, neurology, stroke, dialysis, pulmonary, hospice, and geriatric patients. Our team is comprised of RNs, PCAs, LPN's and unit secretaries who all work in collaborating effectively with other disciplines of the care team. Our Med Surg 2 (Adult Surgical Stepdown) unit is a medical/surgical inpatient unit that focuses on providing care for adults who are either preparing for, or recovering from, a surgical procedure. Our patient population is mostly surgical patients including orthopedic, urology, OBGYN, and general surgery, but we also see medical patients with infections, wounds, and chronic health issues. Our mission is to provide all our patients with safe and quality care. Our goal is to assist the patients in swift recovery and progression towards their baseline health. As a Med Surg Flex nurse, you would float between the units.
