Registered Nurse - Summer Temp. Program - Labor & Delivery

Location: ChristianaCare Newark Campus - Women's Building
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: Tuesday, July 7, 2026

Shift Options

  • 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm -OR- 7pm-7:30am)

  • 48 hours per pay period

  • Flexible, self-scheduling available

  • Must commit to 24 weekend hours per 4-week schedule block

Program Highlights

  • Work in one unit for the duration of the contract – no floating or being pulled to other units

  • No holiday requirement

  • Weekend requirement: 24 hours every 4 weeks (typically 2 shifts/month)

Requirements:

  • Two years Labor & Delivery RN experience in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting within the last two years required

  • BLS certification required

  • BSN preferred; ADN required

  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware

$52.00/hrThis pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
