The Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea (MVH Chelsea) has proudly served the Commonwealth’s veterans since 1882. As a comprehensive healthcare and housing facility, our mission is to provide eligible Massachusetts veterans with compassionate, high-quality care and services delivered with dignity, honor, and respect. We offer long-term skilled nursing care through our healthcare facility and comprehensive residential support through our domiciliary program.

MVH Chelsea serves veterans from every era of military service, from World War II through the Global War on Terror. As one of the Commonwealth’s Veterans Homes, we are dedicated to meeting the clinical, rehabilitative, psychosocial, and residential needs of those who have served our nation.

The Massachusetts Veterans Homes are independent state agencies operating under the Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS). Owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Veterans Homes provide a broad spectrum of long-term care and residential services designed to enhance the health, well-being, and quality of life of veteran residents.
