
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Wound Care
Part-Time 8a – 5p

Serve as the clinical resource and consultant for acute and rehabilitative for patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems, such as alterations in skin, wounds, draining wounds/fistulas, dermal wounds, ostomies, and incontinence.
Collaborates and consults with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families to assist in developing and implementing the wound ostomy continence plan of care.
Serves as a resource to staff for patient care needs.
Assists in education of patients and families.
Participates in clinical research and evidence-based practice as it relates to wound Ostomy continence patient care.
Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution with Wound and Ostomy Care Certification.
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Wound and Ostomy Care Certification required within 2 years of hire.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
A minimum of five years of related experience is required for this position.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in specialty preferred.
