Position Purpose
In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.
Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing school
Valid RN license in Connecticut
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting.
BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Rotating Every other Weekend/Holiday
This is an hourly position, included in the RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95.
