Registered Nurse In-Charge - Caulfield

  • Permanent Part-Time position
  • Consistent Shifts: Sat, Mon & Tue: 1445-2215 and Sun: 0700-1515

About you

You are a qualified and compassionate person who has a strong focus on providing high quality care to our residents at Jewish Care Victoria. You’re passionate to positively impact our residents' lives by aiding and supporting with services that are in line with their needs.

With your recent supervision/leadership of other nurses, you will be a part of a vibrant, dedicated and community orientated team that unites for the common goal of caring for our residents.

You would be a great fit if you have:

  • Relevant Nursing qualification (Registered Nurse Qualification)
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Medication Competency
  • Previous grade 4 or 5 level - Mandatory
  • Must be experienced in team leadership/supervising roles
  • Experience working in an aged care environment
  • Good working knowledge of AN-AAC
  • Strong teamwork experience with the nursing team and assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Ensure residents daily care is provided in a dignified manner.

About The Royal Children's Hospital

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
