Saint Luke’s East Hospital of Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an RN to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation teamYou will be the subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. Schedules emergent need patient appointments, identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, inserts intravenous access with medication administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need.
The Work:
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
Schedules emergent need patient appointments, identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, inserts intravenous access with medication administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need.
Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care.
Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration. to Scope of Practice. the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Enters admission orders as directed by provider.
Identifies hospital resources.
Responsible for managing expired samples.
We are seeking a nurse who is able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as autonomously, and serve as a clinical resource for new employees. Must have excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times, with the ability to demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
