Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking experienced Perioperative‑trained Registered Nurses to join our team at Hyde Park. As we transition into a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday operating day surgery unit—running from 7:00am to 9:00pm. Please note: Due to activity levels at the Hyde Park campus, this role requires flexibility to work across both the Hyde Park as well as supporting theatre operations at Pimlico as needed.
Our Hyde Park campus is home to a modern four‑theatre complex supporting a diverse range of specialties, including ophthalmology, pain management, dental, general surgery, and a small but growing volume of urogynecology and urology.
Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Our Perioperative Registered Nurses use extensive experience to provide essential support to our patients and Clinical Nurses in activities designed to aid the sustainability of the department and assist with the progression of service improvement.
