Hourly Pay Range:

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Hours: 0700-1930; 1500-2330; 1500-1930;could cover some holidays and some weekends could work 0700-1930 for weekend
  • Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs per 6-week schedule

What you will do:

  • The RN House Operations Administrator (HOA) serves as the highest‑level clinical and operational leader on duty during their assigned shift when senior leadership is not on site.
  • The HOA provides hospital‑wide oversight of clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.
  • Acting in the interest of the organization, the HOA exercises independent judgment and has the authority to interpret and enforce policies, provides direction to team members, direct clinical and operational activity, resolve complex issues, allocate resources, and make real-time decisions necessary to ensure continuity of safe, high‑quality patient care across all units.
  • The role functions as the central decision‑maker for real‑time operations, support frontline staff, coordinating interdepartmental activity, and maintaining situational awareness of capacity, acuity, and resource needs.

What you will need:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Certification: Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Illinois; Current CPR Certification (issued by American Heart Association); Current ACLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

Experience:

Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience, with at least two years in a formal or informal leadership role (e.g., Charge Nurse, Team Lead, Supervisor). Experience in a critical care or high-acuity setting is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in direct supervision and staff development.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective conflict resolution and team collaboration
