The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
Are you an experienced RN who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex clinical challenges, and serves as a trusted resource for fellow caregivers?
Intermountain Health is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our House Resource RN team. This unique role offers the opportunity to provide house-wide clinical support, respond to critical patient needs, assist with patient flow, and partner with nursing leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional care delivery across the hospital.
As a House Resource RN, you'll be a key part of the hospital's clinical operations, supporting bedside teams, responding to urgent situations, facilitating admissions and discharges, and helping maintain a culture of safety, collaboration, and clinical excellence. No two shifts are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact throughout the organization.
The House Resource RN serves as an experienced clinical expert who supports hospital operations through real-time problem solving, patient flow coordination, clinical escalation, and caregiver support. Working closely with House Supervisors, charge nurses, case management, and interdisciplinary teams, you'll help ensure patients receive timely, safe, and high-quality care throughout their hospitalization.
This role requires exceptional critical thinking, strong communication skills, clinical versatility, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities. You'll support multiple units and patient populations while serving as a valuable resource for bedside caregivers and leadership teams.
Whether assisting during a rapid response, facilitating patient throughput, mentoring staff, or supporting quality and safety initiatives, you'll play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence across the hospital.
