
The Hospitalist Coordinator RN plays a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and patient-centered care for hospitalized patients. This position serves as a clinical liaison between physicians, nurses, care managers, patients, and families to coordinate care, support communication, improve patient flow, and facilitate successful transitions throughout the hospital stay.
Combining clinical expertise with care coordination and patient advocacy, this role helps ensure exceptional outcomes and experiences for patients while supporting operational excellence across the Hospital Medicine service.

What You'll Love About This Role
Support patients and families throughout their hospitalization by helping coordinate care and improve the overall patient experience.
Work closely with hospitalists, nurses, case managers, pharmacists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Provide support across multiple hospital medicine programs, including LDS Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, Tele-Hospitalist, and Tele-EM services.
Develop expertise in care coordination, patient throughput, healthcare operations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
PRN position providing coverage across three hospitalist service areas, offering variety and flexibility while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.
