This position requires a confident, skilled, and adaptable Medical/Surgical RN who can delegate appropriately and deliver care in line with hospital policies, procedures, and evidence‑based practice. Successful candidates will be able to interpret assessment findings, diagnostics, and laboratory results, and escalate abnormalities to physicians and the wider care team.
A strong commitment to ongoing professional development is essential, along with the ability to promote continuity of care through clear, accurate communication with RNs, LPNs, and other caregivers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication to improving services, enhancing patient outcomes, and contributing to national nursing quality indicators.
Salary: $45.00 - $65.00 (USD) per hour, depending on experience.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Perform wound care, change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IV therapy
Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications
Participate in discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post‑operative care
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient files, charts, and health records
Competitive pay: $45–$65 USD per hour (based on experience and specialty)
