This specialized 24-bed unit provides Critical Care, Stepdown, and Telemetry-level care for patients recovering from open heart surgery, myocardial infarctions, AAA repairs, thoracic procedures, CRRT, and more. What makes this unit unique is its continuity of care—open heart patients remain in the same room from admission through discharge, allowing nurses to build meaningful relationships and play a key role in every stage of recovery.
