*This is a fully remote position requiring around 10% travel.

The Registered Nurse, Health Services Clinical Quality supports Health
Services leadership in advancing quality, patient safety, regulatory
compliance, and nursing initiatives. Serves as the key liaison between leadership and field clinical teams,
facilitating communication, implementation, monitoring, and sustainment of
clinical quality improvement activities across the organization in a remote
work environment. Coordinates the execution, monitoring, and day-to-day support
of nursing performance initiatives and performance metrics, auditing clinical
documentation, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and accreditation
standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following
functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job
performance requirements.

  1. Coordinates and supports organization-wide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to promote compliance, clinical excellence, and performance improvements
  2. Supports risk management, patient safety, and infection control initiatives.
  3. Assists with development of clinical initiatives and implements and tracks corrective action plans to address compliance and quality issues.
  4. Assists in developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures.
  5. Conducts remote clinical audits, chart reviews, and documentation reviews to maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  6. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of quality and compliance activities.

  7. Provides education and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and quality practices.
  8. Reviews incident reports and assists with investigations, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  9. Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams and participates in quality, compliance, and performance improvement committees to improve processes, enhance quality outcomes, and ensure compliance.
  10. Monitors quality metrics, patient outcomes, and performance indicators to identify trends, evaluate performance, and recommend areas for improvement.
  11. Generates reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review.
  12. Promotes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, NCCHC guidelines and accreditation standards.
  13. Domestic U. S. travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate
    from an accredited college, university, or nursing program with an Associate's
    degree in Nursing is required.
  • 2+ years
    of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory guidelines and auditing, accreditation
    standards, or quality improvement is required.
  • Must possess an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the
    state of employment.
  • Experience with
    electronic health records (EHR) required.
  • Must demonstrate strong knowledge of
    healthcare compliance, regulations, and documentation standards and the ability
    to interpret regulatory standards and apply them to practice; excellent
    auditing and analytical skills; strong attention to detail; effective written
    and verbal communication and organizational skills; and the ability to work
    independently in a remote environment.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to maintain
    confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Knowledge
    of quality improvement methodologies (e.g. PDSA, Lean) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    and data reporting tools is required.
