Marine Centered Medical Home (MCMH) Hadnot provides primary care and ancillary services toMarinesand Sailors with select 2DMarineDivision units.
Duty Hours: Services may be provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 0645 to 1700.
Duties:
- Perform a full range of RN duties:
- - triage;
- - patient assessment and monitoring;
- - use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment;
- - appropriate nursing care, procedures, and treatments;
- - execution of physicians’ orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations;
- - patient education and emotional support.
- Utilize available automated programs and information technology, communication and management tools for proactive patient management and to facilitate patient engagement and enhance patient experience ((i.e., Genesis, AHLTA, TSWF, CHCS, CarePoint and Secure Messaging).
- Communicate with patients utilizing asynchronous Secure Messaging (i.e., RelayHealth) to improve communication and facilitate care through non-traditional means.
- Participate in MHP/MCMH Team huddles/meetings each day to review scheduled appointments, identify MHP/MCMH Team requirements (i.e., supplies and equipment and staff support issues related to the day’s scheduled appointments) and scheduled patient requirements (i.e., scrubbing the schedule to identify diagnostic procedures or medical readiness requirements that may be ordered or prepared before the patient appointment).

Qualifications
- Degree/Education: Associates Degree of Nursing and in lieu of graduation from an ACEN or CCNE Accredited program, graduate from a State Board of Nursing or accredited nursing program
- Certifications:
- - Basic Life Support
- - Prior to commencing service under this contract, Contractor nurses shall attend a 2-hour lecture on IV certification.

Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of full-time clinical experience within the last 2 years as a Registered Nurse.
- License: Posses an RN license that is full, active and unrestricted from any of the 50 United States to include Guam and Virgin Island
