The Department

Caulfield and Sandringham Nurse Pool support a wide range of services for both campuses. The Nurse Bank provides a supplementary workforce promoting effective seamless care from acute care back to the community. Our staff covers emergency, acute ward, geriatric ward, geriatric psychiatric, rehabilitation, and community care within the Caulfield and Sandringham campuses.

The Role

As a Nurse Bank team member, you will be provided with:

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
  • Possess a strong understanding and background in Patient-Centred care
  • Have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff, and visitors

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
