Mercy is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses looking for flexibility and premium shift opportunities. Join our GIG Nursing Program and choose shifts that work best for your lifestyle while providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.
Participation in the GIG Nursing Program requires nurses to self-schedule a minimum number of hours, maintain flexibility for short-notice staffing needs, and accept the possibility of last-minute shift cancellations. GIG positions do not guarantee hours and are the first positions subject to cancellation.
$40/hour Base Rate

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Critical Care Units
Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
BSN
Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact state licensure and meet all applicable state board of nursing requirements.
Minimum two (2) years of recent bedside RN experience in Critical Care/ICU within the last 2 years.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Epic EMR experience
Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly
Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat while performing patient care duties
