Registered Nurse

• Fixed-term full-time | 24 months
• Based across Singleton or Speers Point offices | Onsite parking available
• 5 weeks annual leave | 18 days personal leave | Professional development

About the role:

As a Registered Nurse at Coal Services, you will contribute to improving the health and welfare of NSW coal mine workers through the provision of occupational health assessment services and preventative and educational programs to our customers. Comprehensive on-the-job training for occupational health assessments is provided.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting occupational health assessments e.g., audiometry and spirometry
• Providing drug & alcohol screening
• The provision of education programs on a range of occupational health issues
• The delivery of a range of occupational health programs including immunisations
• The delivery of our services in an onsite capacity e.g., in the health van on a mine site.

About you:

Your education, experience and skills will include:
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Excellent clinical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• The ability to organise and prioritise tasks portraying excellent time management skills
• Immediate computer skills including MS Office
• NSW driver's Licence
• Ability to travel to mine sites as required
