Sentara Health is seeking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Employee Health Department.

Position Status Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: On-site in Elizabeth City, NC at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center

Standard Working Hours Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

The Registered Nursing (RN) for employee health is responsible for conserving, protecting, and promoting the health and safety of employees in the workplace through direct clinical care and by supporting occupational and environmental health services. Key responsibilities include conducting health screenings for new and existing employees, ensuring compliance with vaccination policies and administering vaccines as needed, and performing fit-for-duty assessments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment.

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

  • Registered nursing License (Required)

  • BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in a clinical setting is Highly Preferred
