
This position is eligible for a commitment bonus! $20,000 for experienced RNs, and $10,000 for new graduate RNs.
Schedule: 3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Day Shift (7a – 7p) + rotating weekends

Our Emergency Department is a rural, 20-bed unit serving Rutherford County and surrounding communities with responsive, patient-centered emergency care. This is a great environment for an ED nurse who enjoys variety, critical thinking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community hospital setting. Nurses care for patients across a wide range of acuity levels and work closely with providers, ancillary departments, and inpatient teams to support timely assessment, treatment, stabilization, and transition of care. The department is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a supportive culture where communication, collaboration, and quality outcomes are valued. Work-life balance is also important to us, and we proudly offer self-scheduling. How you’ll contribute
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:
• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What we’re looking for
• Current North Carolina or compact state RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
•Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• One year of RN experience as an Emergency Department RN required.
