Job Description

The Midtown Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center with 30 beds, including critical care, isolation, decontamination, OB/GYN, and general treatment rooms, along with dedicated triage, EMS, and family spaces. It’s a fast‑moving environment, but one built on teamwork, support, and shared purpose.

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll care for patients of all ages and acuity levels, offering calm, skill, and compassion during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. You’ll use your clinical judgment and critical thinking to stabilize and treat patients, while also providing clear communication, reassurance, and education to families who rely on your guidance.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating care, supporting your team, and ensuring every patient who walks through our doors feels seen, safe, and cared for.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department
  • Quickly assess patients and respond to changing conditions using clinical judgment and critical thinking
  • Supervise and coordinate care provided by the nursing team
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
  • Provide clear education and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective treatment

Required:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a compact licensure state

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Emergency Department experience
