Job Title: RN – Emergency Department
Location: Watertown, NY
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Position: Registered Nurse – ED
Hours: 36 hours/week
Start/End Date: 04/13/2026 – 07/15/2026
Radius Rule: 60-mile radius rule applies
Department: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
Assess, plan, and implement nursing care, including teaching and mental/spiritual support
Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
Maintain accurate documentation in MEDITECH EMR
Ensure patient and staff safety during all procedures, including use of lifts
May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
Active New York RN license required
Travel experience required
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Critical care and charge nurse experience preferred
Ability to function well in high-stress situations, strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS (current or obtained within 6 months of hire)
IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
Defibrillation certified within 6 months of employment
