Job Title: RN – Emergency Department
Location: Utica, NY
Shift: Night (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Position: Registered Nurse – ED
Hours: 48 hours week
Start/End Date: 04/13/2026 – 07/11/2026
Radius Rule: Locals accepted within 75 miles at local rate
Department: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care across all ED populations: newborn, pediatric, adult, geriatric
Care for patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure
Utilize specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Float to other units as needed
Assist in charge nurse duties if capable
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Follow unit-specific protocols and safety procedures
Requirements:
2+ years of ED experience, including some pediatric exposure
Travel experience required
Active New York RN license required
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required in hand)
Preferred:
Charge nurse capability highly preferred

64-bed unit: 2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 Psych
