Comprehensive Paid Training Provided | Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) & Home Modalities

Whether you are experienced in home modalities or transitioning your clinical background, DaVita provides robust, fully paid training to set you up for success as a Registered Nurse - Dialysis.

DaVita is seeking an organized, self-directed Registered Nurse - Dialysis (Peritoneal Dialysis / PD) to manage and empower patients performing life-saving treatments at home. In this role as a Dialysis RN - Peritoneal Dialysis, you will educate patients and caregivers in-clinic, enabling them to safely and independently perform home peritoneal dialysis. This role seamlessly blends autonomous clinical care, patient education, and long-term case management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dialysis RN - Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), you will:

• Train & Educate: Conduct one-on-one training with patients and caregivers on Peritoneal Dialysis procedures, sterile techniques, and home self-care routines.
• Case Management: Manage a dedicated caseload of peritoneal dialysis patients, performing ongoing clinical assessments, individualized care planning, and progress tracking.
• Clinical Oversight: Monitor home treatment adherence, conduct routine clinic check-ins and occasional home visits, and provide dedicated on-call clinical support.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and clinical managers to drive safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Shift Structure: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Time Off: Weekends and major holidays off
• Flexibility: Autonomy to structure your daily schedule and manage your patient caseload

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, and electronic medical record systems)

Preferred Experience

• Prior nursing experience in Dialysis (Peritoneal Dialysis / PD, Home Hemodialysis / HHD, In-Center Chronic, or Acute Dialysis)
• Background in patient education, adult teaching, or clinical preceptorship
• Experience in case management, outpatient clinics, or telehealth
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) credential
