Position: Cruise Ship Nurse


Your Journey:

As a Cruise Ship Nurse, you will traverse the globe aboard luxurious cruise liners, cultivating your skills, and gaining unparalleled experience alongside seasoned healthcare professionals with expertise in maritime operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver personalized outpatient, inpatient, and ICU care to both guests and crew members.
  • Act as first responders, triaging emergency calls, providing on-scene assessment and treatment, and transferring patients to the medical center for further care.
  • Evaluate patients, offering treatment and advice for specific medical conditions.
  • Carry out technical and administrative tasks to ensure the medical center operates efficiently and safely, under the supervision of the Senior Nurse.
  • Conduct equipment checks, manage medications, and oversee inventory.
  • Participate in drills, audits, inspections, and assist in training other crew members.
  • Acquire and develop technical skills on board, including X-ray acquisition.
  • Perform various laboratory tests and other medical procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and assertiveness at all times.
  • Consistently uphold the organization's Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan in all tasks and interactions.


Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nursing License
  • Minimum of 3 years experience post-graduation, minimum of 1 year in ICU or Emergency Department within the last 2 years.
  • Current ALS/ACLS certifications.
  • STCW95 Certification: Basic Safety, Crowd Management, Crisis Management, and Ship Security/Security Awareness
  • C1D Visa and/or Schengen Visa /UK Visa (depending on the ship and port of embarkation)
  • Seafarer Medical Certificate
  • Seaman's Book
  • Covid vaccination
  • Computer Skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally and compassionately at all levels.
