WHAT WE OFFER
Delivers professional and technical nursing care to patients presenting to the Critical Care Areas. Nursing care delivered complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital. Adheres to the monitoring of and compliance with all licensing and regulatory agency guidelines including but not limited to TJC, ACHA, OSHA, CMS, DCF, etc. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation when delivering nursing carePrepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing and Patient Care AssistantsThe professional nurse must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a stressful fast paced environment is essential.
CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and the hospitalWorks with supervisor/manager and other members of section or department to promote a harmonious work environmentEnsures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate mannerAnswers telephones in a prompt and courteous mannerDisplays concern and provides assistance or explains procedures as appropriate to callers or in face-to-face situationsDedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customersWorks with customers to identify problem areas and recommend solutions
