Mater Hospital Springfield is currently seeking Casual Registered Nurses to join our growing teams across a number of clinical specialties as we prepare to open our new hospital in early 2026. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare, helping shape services and culture from day one.
Our casual opportunities are offered through specialty-specific casual pools, meaning you will work within your clinical area of expertise alongside dedicated teams within that department.
This state-of-the-art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
Salary range: $41.74 - $53.53 per hour plus casual loading plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
