
The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered nursing care while supporting the physical, emotional, and overall well-being of each patient. The RN promotes a caring environment focused on healing, wellness, dignity, and respect for every individual.
Nursing practice is grounded in evidence-based care, current research, Baptist Health policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and professional nursing guidelines. The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment, critical thinking, creativity, and the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate outcomes.
The RN works collaboratively with patients, families, nursing colleagues, providers, and other members of the healthcare team to promote safe, high-quality care. This role serves as a professional example of compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy while contributing to a positive environment focused on healing and wellness.
