A leading healthcare organization in Kansas City, MO is seeking skilled and compassionate Cardiac Care Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity cardiovascular team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population at a comprehensive stroke and STEMI facility
$30.04–$41.50/hr based on experience
Shift Differentials: +$4.00/hr Nights | +$4.00/hr Weekends
$30,000 – Night Shift
$12,000 – Day Shift

Cardiac Care RNs provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, ablations, pacemaker/AICD procedures, and other cardiovascular surgeries.
You will collaborate within a strong, problem-solving team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
Coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with state Nursing Practice Acts and ANA Standards.
Support patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor patient progress, respond to acute changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3–1:5, depending on acuity and staffing
Patient population includes:
Open heart recovery
Heart catheterization with stent placement
Pacemaker/AICD placement
Cardiovascular surgeries
Ablations
Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (cardiac strongly preferred)
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Licensure: Active Missouri RN license (or compact RN license)
Certifications:
BLS required upon hire
ACLS required within 6 months
