A leading Kansas City healthcare system is seeking compassionate, skilled Cardiac Care Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity cardiovascular unit. This role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, rotating schedules, and major sign-on bonuses for both day and night shift RNs.

$30.04 – $41.50/hr based on experience
+$4/hr for Nights
+$4/hr for Weekends
Sign-On Bonus:
$30,000 for Night Shift (2-year commitment)
$12,000 for Day Shift (2-year commitment)

Cardiac Care RNs provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures and surgeries, including:
Open-heart surgery
Heart catheterizations & stent placements
Pacemaker/AICD implantation
Ablations & electrophysiology interventions
Cardiovascular surgeries
This unit focuses on rapid assessment, advanced cardiac monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3 to 1:5 depending on acuity
High-acuity patient population in a comprehensive stroke and STEMI-certified facility
Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Monitor, evaluate, and support patients recovering from cardiac procedures.
Deliver care aligned with state Nursing Practice Acts and ANA Standards of Practice.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Support patient education regarding cardiac recovery and post-discharge care.
Experience: At least 1 year of acute-care RN experience in cardiac or similar specialty.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
Licensure: Active Missouri RN license (or compact equivalent).
Certifications:
BLS required at hire
ACLS required within 6 months
