Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Pre & Post team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care for patients before and after cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and angioplasty. Nurses prepare patients for procedures, monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, assess recovery progress, and recognize potential complications. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ideal for an RN passionate about cardiovascular nursing and providing exceptional patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac procedures and provide post-procedure recovery care.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses before and after procedures.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and identify potential post-procedure complications.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, effective patient care.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
