Join a compassionate, patient-focused, and highly skilled team at our Novant Health Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery office in Asheville, where you'll support patients through a variety of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care needs. As an RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering a seamless, patient-centered experience while guiding patients through every stage of their treatment journey.

In this specialty setting, you'll collaborate closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate care, triage patient concerns, provide education, manage pre- and post-operative needs, and ensure continuity across outpatient services. Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate approach will help patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their care experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support the healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care in an ambulatory setting
  • Triage and manage incoming patient calls to ensure timely and appropriate follow up
  • Room patients, prepare them for provider visits, and assist with in-office procedures
  • Build authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their chosen support systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and manage individualized care plans regarding labs, imaging, and referrals
  • Provide patient education and perioperative support including pre-op instructions, post op-care, and discharge teaching
  • Apply best scientific evidence and clinical expertise to guide nursing decisions
  • Advocate for patients while ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care—supporting both physical outcomes and patient confidence
  • Take ownership and accountability for the coordination and delivery of nursing care, with attention to detail and patient experience


What We're Looking For

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN license in appropriate state, required.
    • ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
