Central Louisiana State Hospital located in Pineville, Louisiana is seeking applicants for a vacant position in our Clinic as a Registered Nurse Advanced Practice who provides advanced health/nursing care to individuals as an advanced or expert clinician.
The Registered Nurse Advanced Practice plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH’s values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care.

Job Duties:
Under the direct supervision of the Medical Clinic Physician and Medical Director with a collaborative agreement, the incumbent of this position serves as a Family Practice APRN for CLSH. The Family Practice APRN is responsible for provision of medical care and the emergency treatment of patients on assigned units. This includes:

Appointment Type: Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Transfer
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: Registered Nurse Advanced Practice has a special entry rate (SER) of $4,389.60 bi-weekly
This position is eligible for Premium Pay of $8.00 per hour, and Longevity Pay up to $5.00 per hour.
