The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, or ability to obtain one, required

• Current CPR certification required

• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
