The Rehabilitation Services Unit at the Mersey Community Hospital is a dedicated 12-bed sub-acute facility committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation care to patients across the North-West region.
The Rehabilitation Service Unit consists of a highly skilled and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team, dedicated to enhancing our patients functional and cognitive abilities to enhance their independence and improve quality of life post injury or illness. We use an individualised patient centred approach that aims to meet the goals and outcomes mutually identified by the individual, their family, and therapy staff.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Fixed term part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team until 13 March 2027.

$80,524 to $109,175 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
