📍 South Coast Radiology (SCR) is the longest standing radiology provider to Southeast Queensland and part of the Australia-wide Integral Diagnostics (IDX) radiology group network.
We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse (12 Month Maternity Leave contract till 2027) to join our team based at Pindara Hospital on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, you will provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists, supporting diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.
💙 Provide a high standard of care to patients, technical staff, and Radiologists
⚠️ Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always observed
🛏️ Admission, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures such as biopsies, vascular access devices, pain management, stents, and drainages
💉 PICC line insertion (training provided)
📈 Apply sound knowledge for post-procedure care, recovery, and discharge
📞 Participate in an on-call roster
🪪 Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
💉 IV Cannulation experience preferred
❤️🔥 Advanced Life Support (preferred but not essential)
🚨 Able to respond effectively in emergencies
🗣️ Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
🤝 Team player with ability to work independently
✨ Excellent personal presentation
🏥 Previous surgical or radiology experience (beneficial)
