
Behavioral Health Nurse -- Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS)
We are currently seeking an RN to provide nursing services for our Personalized Recovery Oriented Services program ( PROS) PROS is a group and team-based program designed to assist clients who have significant mental health challenges develop pathways to a successful and meaningful life in the community.
Reporting to, and working collaboratively with, both the PROS Clinical and Program Directors, responsibilities for this position include initial and ongoing health assessments and triage, identifying and tracking clients with medical high-risk indicators, brief immediate nursing intervention when needed, and linkage/coordination with clients' primary care providers around their ongoing medical treatment needs. Other duties include administering LAI injections, individual and group counseling around medication/wellness education, and taking the lead in helping program staff integrate clients' medical issues into their overall recovery planning and services.
This is a four day/week (part-time) position, specific workdays TBD.
To qualify for this position, you must have a NYS RN license, at least 1-2 years of nursing experience in behavioral health, excellent interpersonal/communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and in a self-directed manner.
