About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate, skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Ward 6 team, encompassing Gynaecology Oncology, High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Day Chemotherapy services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist medical-surgical environment, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to women across a diverse range of clinical settings. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in cancer care and gynaecology.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Recent experience in medical and/or surgical nursing
Recent experience in High Dependency Unit (HDU) nursing
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills
The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure in a complex clinical environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care
Recent experience in gynaecology nursing (highly desirable)
Postgraduate qualification in Cancer Nursing (highly desirable)
Current competency in chemotherapy administration (eviQ Exit Level 2 – IV), or a commitment to complete this competency (highly desirable)
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
Evidence of current influenza vaccination and other immunisation requirements in accordance with public health directives
