The Registered Nurse (RN) partners with the Director of Nursing to oversee the healthcare needs of individuals receiving residential services. This position works closely with medical, clinical, and operations teams to ensure the highest quality of care through medication management, health assessments, staff education, care coordination, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires travel between residential homes within the assigned service area.

Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct nursing assessments upon admission and as required by state regulations.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and follow up on infections and other medical concerns.
• Coordinate medical, psychiatric, dental, vision, and specialty care appointments.
• Provide diabetic foot assessments and first aid as needed.
• Educate and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on medication administration, infection prevention, and proper use of medical equipment.
• Monitor medication rooms, eMAR, and electronic health records for compliance.
• Assist with care planning and development of medical policies and procedures.
• Participate in infection prevention initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Triage medical concerns and communicate effectively with physicians, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation when required.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, HIPAA, and company regulations.

Qualifications
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or residential services is preferred.
