Join GenesisCare Bella Vista (Norwest) as a Casual Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people undergoing treatment.

As part of our Radiation Oncology team, you'll provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey while working alongside experienced and dedicated clinicians.

No Radiation Oncology experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop specialist skills in this rewarding area of nursing.

More specifically, you will:

You will play a key role in delivering safe, coordinated, and patient-centred care by:

• Providing high-quality nursing care within a Radiation Oncology setting, supporting patients' physical, emotional, and supportive care needs
• Delivering patient education and hands-on care, including skin and wound management and medication administration
• Coordinating daily patient flow to help ensure a seamless and positive treatment experience
• Working collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and Patient Services teams to deliver exceptional multidisciplinary care
• Building meaningful relationships with patients and their families throughout their treatment journey
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation to support safe and effective care
• Following clinical protocols, policies, and evidence-based practice standards
• Applying medication safety principles and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
• Using structured communication tools such as ISBAR to support patient safety and team collaboration
• Contributing to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

You are a caring and capable nurse who thrives in a patient-focused environment and enjoys building meaningful connections with those in your care.

You'll bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of two years' post-graduate nursing experience (preferred)
• Experience in Oncology or Radiation Oncology (highly regarded but not essential)
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide reassurance
• Sound clinical judgement and effective problem-solving abilities
• A commitment to best practice, quality improvement, and patient safety
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development
• Experience in wound care management
