Description

The Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the
Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence,
preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.

The Registered Nurse position is responsible for caring for the Veterans of the Robert E. Spiller Bowling
Green Veterans Center.

We have 2nd and 3rd Shift positions.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Performs nursing duties under direction of a physician.
  • Performs medical treatments and administers medications as prescribed.
  • Collects assessment data and cares for our veterans within the scope of the RN clinical skills.
  • Supervises other clinical staff in administering care to the residents and documents essential information.

This position, Warren County, has an approved Locality Premium of $11.08 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034
Section 9(1).

This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:
  • Second & Third shift: 15%
  • Weekend: 25%
  • Holidays: 25%

Working Conditions

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
